Restitution Payments by Direct Deposit

Category:

Restitution victims may now choose to receive restitution payments by direct deposit (Electronic Funds Transfer or EFT) instead of by paper check.

Receiving payments by direct deposit provides faster access to funds and eliminates the risk of checks being delayed or lost in the mail.

To enroll, complete the AO 213R Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization form and return it to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, Finance Unit at CAND_Finance@cand.uscourts.gov.

If you have questions about completing the form or the EFT process, please contact the Finance Unit by email at CAND_Finance@cand.uscourts.gov or by phone at (415) 522-4621.
