Example 1: Original vs. Copy Cost – Ordinary (30-Day) Delivery
- The first party orders an original transcript with an ordinary (30-day) delivery @ $4.40 per page x 100 pages = $440.
- A second party later orders 1 copy with an expedited (7-day), 14-day or 30-day delivery (fee is the same) of the same transcript, so the cost is $1.10 per page x 100 pages = $110. (A “daily” or “hourly” delivery of a copy is $1.45 per page.)The per-page rate for transcript copies provided by a court reporter is based on the delivery type requested by the party ordering the copy, not the delivery schedule on which the original transcript was produced.
- When delivering the transcripts to the ordering party/parties, the court reporter also unlocks the transcript on CM/ECF for both parties to download for no additional fee, except the per-page PACER fee.For 90 days after the original transcript is delivered to the ordering party, only parties who have ordered and paid for a transcript (original or copy) from a court reporter can view and print additional copies of the transcript via CM/ECF or PACER. During the 90-day period, a copy of the transcript may be viewed, but not printed or copied, in the Clerk’s Office.
- After the expiration of the 90-day period, any party can either download the transcript from CM/ECF or PACER for no transcript fee (except the per-page PACER fee), or purchase additional copies from the court reporter at the rates reflected in the current fee schedule.
Example 2: Original vs. Copy Cost – Daily Delivery
- The first party orders an original transcript with daily delivery @ $7.30 per page x 100 pages = $730.
- A second party orders 1 copy with a daily delivery of the same transcript, so the cost is $1.45 per page x 100 pages = $145.
The per-page rate for transcript copies provided by a court reporter is based on the delivery type requested by the party ordering the copy, not the delivery type on which the original transcript was produced.

Example 3: Multiple Copies – Daily Delivery
- The first party orders an original transcript with daily delivery, plus 3 additional copies.
- The original is $7.30 per page (e.g., PDF), plus 1.45 per page for the first additional copy (e.g., ASCI or TEXT), plus 1.10 per page for the second additional copy (condensed with index), plus 1.10 per page for the third additional copy (e.g., printed copy) for a total of $10.95 per page x 100 pages = $1095. The per-page rate for transcript copies provided by a court reporter is based on the delivery schedule requested by the party ordering the copy, not the delivery schedule on which the original transcript was produced.
- A second party later orders 3 copies of the same transcript daily delivery at $1.45 per page (in PDF), plus 1.10 per page (for hard copy), plus 1.10 per page (for a condensed copy with index), for a total per page rate of $3.65 x 100 pages = $365. (A 7-day, 14-day and 30-day delivery of a copy is 1.10 per page.)
